Finance & Strategy Associate - Remote

Overview

Lola Blankets, the creator of the world’s softest luxury faux fur blankets, is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate to apply strong financial modeling and analytical skills to drive business growth and profitability. This person will report to the Finance & Strategy Manager and assist with financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development, while collaborating cross-functionally with the Accounting, Product, and Marketing teams to support accurate reporting and forecasting of financial metrics and results.

In Short

• Support and maintain Lola Blanket’s financial model and assist with all financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist in building business cases to assess and prioritize new channel and product opportunities.
• Report on key business drivers that impact growth and profitability.
• Support the monitoring and forecasting of cash flow and working capital.
• Provide supporting analysis and documentation to the Controller and accounting team.
• Build and maintain cross functional relationships to support financial goals.
• Support the preparation of financial analysis-backed presentations for leadership.
• Contribute to the company’s strategic planning process with financial insights.
• Monitor the performance of competitors and provide performance summaries.
• Assist with the development of pitch materials for expanding credit facilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Excel and PowerPoint mastery.
• Experience with financial modeling and FP&A processes.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
