Part-Time Infusion Nurse (PRN) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a flexible and dependable Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide as-needed coverage at our Virginia care centers, with occasional support in Maryland. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making an impact as a coverage nurse.

In Short

• Provide direct infusion and injection care following established protocols
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition throughout treatment
• Communicate clearly with prescribing providers regarding care coordination
• Maintain accurate records within the EHR system
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
• Travel between assigned care centers as needed
• Step in to cover shifts during weekends, PTO, holidays, or as requested

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Virginia
• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Strong IV placement skills and prior infusion therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting preferred
• Reliable, communicative, and flexible with scheduling
• Willingness to travel to nearby locations and work a PRN (as-needed) schedule
