Security Engineer - Blue Team - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will help us guarantee the safety and standards of our applications and networks as a Security Engineer at Loadsmart, a hyper-growth logistics tech company.

In Short

• Implement controls and secure company’s information systems.
• Architect, build, test, deploy, and monitor IAM systems.
• Understand critical flows and identify best monitoring tactics.
• Build security plans and execute them.
• Document operational procedures regarding security.
• Maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Analyze and implement security controls and alerts.
• Generate security reports as needed.
• Improve cloud security posture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Blue team / Defensive security.
• Fluency in English for daily communication.
• Experience managing AWS IAM and fixing vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security standards from CIS, NIST, and OWASP.
• Ability to automate security tasks.
• Experience with logs, metrics, and monitoring.
• Securing cloud environments.
• Implementing security controls and generating reports.
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash.
