As LiveKit scales, self-serve growth is becoming a core engine of the business. This role exists to ensure developers can onboard faster, reach production more reliably, and continue to succeed over time—without sacrificing craft, clarity, or quality.

In Short

• Design and ship product-led growth initiatives focused on activation, conversion, and retention.
• Own and evolve onboarding and early product experiences within the LiveKit Cloud dashboard.
• Identify where developers stall and turn insights into clear improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Docs teams.
• Design across product and developer-facing surfaces.
• Balance speed and quality in design work.
• Contribute to and evolve LiveKit’s design system.
• Collaborate with other designers to maintain product experience quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing products for developers or technical audiences.
• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills.
• Deep empathy for how developers learn and adopt tools.
• Comfortable moving fast and juggling multiple initiatives.
• Able to understand systems, funnels, and flows.
• Clear communicator for design decisions.
• Highly proficient with Figma and modern design workflows.
