DFIR Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting forensic investigations, analyzing security incidents, and identifying root causes to enhance our cybersecurity posture.

In Short

• Perform forensic analysis using tools such as Magnet Axiom, Encase, and Autopsy.
• Conduct incident root cause analysis and provide detailed reports with key findings.
• Support security teams in investigating and responding to cyber incidents.
• Assist in improving forensic investigation methodologies and processes.
• (Optional) Perform malware reverse engineering at a low level (assembler) to analyze threats.

Requirements

• Practical experience in digital forensic investigations.
• Proficiency in using forensic tools such as Magnet Axiom, Encase, and Autopsy.
• Strong expertise in incident root cause analysis and technical reporting.
• SANS FOR508 certification or an equivalent qualification.
• (Desirable) Experience in malware reverse engineering.
