Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available for a Social Worker. They are looking for a new member to join the Children and Families team in the West Midlands.

In Short

• Conduct timely and thorough assessments of children’s needs.
• Enable families to develop plans for necessary changes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental quality assurance.
• Support the learning and development of others, including mentoring ASYE colleagues.
• Maintain high-quality court reports and case note recording.
• Promote health and well-being in the workplace.
• Engage with diverse individuals, recognizing their worth.
• Stay informed about changing policies and adhere to the Code of Ethics.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
