Qualified Social Worker – Vulnerable People Service - Remote

Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Sefton Council. They are looking for a new member for Vulnerable People Service.

In Short

• Manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Prepare written statements and representations for Court hearings.
• Assess levels of risk and need, conduct safeguarding investigations.
• Develop and negotiate personalized care packages.
• Undertake direct work with adults and families according to care plans.
• Collaborate across multi-agency boundaries.
• Model critical reflection and evidence-based decision-making.
• Contribute to team and professional development.
• Remote/hybrid working available.
• Excellent rate of pay up to £35/hour.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
