Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team. This role is based at the Municipal Offices in Blackpool, with some hybrid working at the discretion of the Team Manager. You will work one duty week out of every four, delivering social work support to families across Blackpool to undertake assessments and develop plans to ensure children can live at home safely.

In Short

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience as a child care social worker.
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle for visits.
  • Experience in completing assessments and developing plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within a multi-agency framework.
