Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available at the Sefton Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Learning Disability & Autism Team.

In Short

• Manage a complex caseload with supervision.
• Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and legislation.
• Prepare statements and represent clients in court.
• Conduct safeguarding investigations and maintain updated care plans.
• Develop care plans with other agencies.
• Negotiate care arrangements with individuals.
• Collaborate across multi-agency teams.
• Work directly with adults and their families.
• Model strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Remote/hybrid working available.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience.
• Degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
