Overview

Lincoln International is seeking an Associate to join our rapidly growing Consumer M&A practice based in Los Angeles. The Associate position involves interacting closely with the firm’s senior bankers and clients’ senior executives, mastering the ability to execute a deal from start-to-finish.

In Short

• Perform financial analyses and valuations
• Conduct industry research
• Identify and contact potential buyers or acquisition targets
• Prepare confidential information memoranda and management presentations
• Interact with senior bankers and clients’ senior executives
• Participate in new business meetings
• Host visits by potential buyers at client facilities
• Support senior bankers during transaction negotiations
• Facilitate due diligence and transaction closings
• Lead initiatives focused on growing the firm’s franchise value

Requirements

• Fluent in accounting and finance with strong business acumen
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Assertive, self-motivated, and desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• MBA degree preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in M&A or a translatable field preferred
