In Short

• Lead all legal work for Lightship as General Counsel.
• Collaborate with other departments for legal advisory services.
• Draft legal documents and ensure compliance with corporate law.
• Manage corporate governance and compliance practices.
• Engage in litigation and risk mitigation practices.
• Handle contracting and mergers & acquisitions.
• Work independently in a remote environment with moderate travel.
• Provide legal support for complex commercial transactions.
• Audit legal bills and manage outside counsel.
• Ensure accessibility of signed agreements and forms.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Graduated from an accredited law school.
• At least 10 years of experience as an attorney.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or clinical research as in-house counsel.
• Led a corporate legal function.
• Worked in a regulated industry.
• Skilled in contracts, employment, corporate governance, and transactions.
