Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

LightForce Orthodontics is seeking a Data Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Data Engineer, you will be supporting the entire LightForce organization for its data needs, helping enable the exponential growth of the company.

In Short

• Build, maintain, and improve the data infrastructure.
• Create and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Setup and integrate reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with and coach other junior data engineers and analysts.
• Lead development of more complex dashboards.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL proficiency, preferably in PostgreSQL.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Professional hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (preferred).
• Experience using git and Jira (preferred).
