Technical Product Manager - Data Shares - Remote

Overview

The Technical Product Manager — Data Shares is responsible for making Lightcast data easily consumable across major platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and others. This role blends technical expertise, product management skills, and cross-functional leadership to deliver reliable, share-ready data products.

In Short

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Lightcast data products and platform integrations.
• Own and manage the backlog, translating requirements into user stories.
• Optimize data listings and entitlements across various platforms.
• Define and enforce data contracts to prevent breaking changes.
• Partner with Security, Legal, and Governance teams for compliance.
• Coordinate product launches and manage documentation.
• Monitor data quality and set thresholds for reliability.
• Drive platform expansion and measure growth in adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with observability tools and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to deliver reliable and compliant data products.
• Skilled at working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodology and backlog ownership.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation.
