Field Medical Director - Remote

Overview

The Field Medical Director is a critical role within the Medical Affairs Department, responsible for engaging with healthcare practitioners and facilitating clinical research while providing scientific data on ImmunityBio's products and relevant disease states.

• Field-facing representative of Medical Affairs.
• Engage with healthcare practitioners on scientific data.
• Facilitate clinical research and provide product support.
• Maintain relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs).
• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations.
• Support Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs).
• Collaborate with internal teams on medical initiatives.
• Identify treatment pathways for evidence generation.
• Conduct training and mentoring for Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
• Travel approximately 50% of the time for business.

Requirements

• Advanced medical/scientific/clinical degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, or PA preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant therapeutic area expertise.
• 5+ years of experience in a field-facing role.
• Clinical trial experience required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Operational proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and clinical research processes preferred.
• Experience in oncology is strongly preferred.
