Program Manager - Platform Modernization - Remote

Overview

This is a fully remote, work at home position. Life Line Screening is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our critical re-platforming initiatives while serving as a Scrum Master for multiple development teams. The ideal Full-time Contractor will bridge technical and business objectives while managing complex, cross-functional programs to modernize our technology stack and facilitate agile practices.

In Short

• Drive the planning and execution of platform modernization programs, including legacy system migration, architecture transformation, and technology stack updates.
• Maintain comprehensive program milestones, identifying dependencies, risks, and critical path tasks.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams across engineering teams, ensuring alignment with architectural vision and business goals.
• Develop and track program metrics, KPIs, and success criteria to measure migration progress and impact.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings across multiple teams.
• Manage scope changes effectively and monitor for potential interruptions.
• Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Recommend, configure, and implement project management tools and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience, with at least 3 years managing large-scale technical transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master for multiple development teams.
• Strong track record of successfully delivering complex re-platforming or modernization initiatives.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with risk management and mitigation in large-scale technical programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficient with Atlassian cloud, Jira, Confluence, for updating flows and reports.
