PKI Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

The PKI Systems Engineer will provide engineering and operational support for NASA’s Identity, Credential and Access Management capabilities, focusing on the NASA Public Key Infrastructure and related device integration support.

In Short

• Provide engineering, testing, and deployment support for ICAM Device Integration.
• Manage authentication and authorization components including Smartcard implementations.
• Package PKI trust anchor management components.
• Support platform single sign-on and browser configurations.
• Conduct operational oversight and provide Tier 2 and 3 customer support.
• Complete functional testing for hardware/software updates.
• Develop documentation from policy guidance to end-user job aids.
• Work with Microsoft Certificate Authority management.
• Coordinate hardware and software dependencies.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Five years of experience with PKI or Certificate Management.
• Experience with installing and troubleshooting clients and middleware.
• Knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificate management technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Experience with Tier 2 and 3 customer support.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust investigation.
• Familiarity with packaging software for deployment is desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Certificate Enrollment Policy and Services.
• Prior knowledge of NIST Security Standards is a plus.
