Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in fostering a data-driven culture across our organisation, enabling departments to leverage data comprehensively and facilitating data teams in building models, AI, and machine learning solutions.

In Short

  • Build and maintain highly scalable and robust data management systems tailored to specific business needs and challenges.
  • Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Build, maintain, develop, test, deploy and enhance our data pipelines and systems.
  • Collaborate with data team and stakeholders including data architects, Executive and Product from the beginning to the delivery of a project.
  • Ensure the highest quality of data is made available throughout the entire organisation and systems meeting our SLAs.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an online, gaming, or fast-moving industry.
  • 3+ years of work experience in data engineers and data platforms.
  • Must have experience in successfully implementing data-centric applications, such as data warehouses, operational data stores, and data integration projects.
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, data modelling, and Python.
  • Proven experience with Bigquery.
  • Proficient with one or more big data & new data technologies such as DBT, Apache NiFi, Airflow, Kafka.
