Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

CreditXpert has an exciting opportunity for a Junior engineer in our Data Analytics Program. As the Data Engineer, your main mission will be to define and deploy data ingestion pipelines that normalize and transform customer and third-party data to allow business intelligence analysts and BI power users, machine learning engineers and data scientists to gain insight from their analytics and research.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end setup of customer data from raw sources to ingestion pipelines.
• Analyze and validate customer data from ingestion to production.
• Monitor data update processes for quality and uptime.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics and Product Development teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Design and build scalable ETL pipelines.
• Set up and maintain Fivetran connectors.
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics.
• Implement data quality checks and governance standards.
• Administer the organization’s cloud data warehouse.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficient with SQL and database design.
• 2+ years’ experience with data models and ETL systems.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with BI users and data scientists.
• Comfortable with unit and regression testing.
