Sr. Network Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to join our AGUN Migration team. This position will be 100% remote with some associated travel.

• 100% remote position with some travel.
• Support the Army’s global wide area network and security infrastructure.
• Must have an active DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Operate and maintain secure network solutions.
• Analyze and transform firewall security policies.
• Support zero trust network access solutions.
• Document designs and technical narratives.
• Minimum of 12 years experience required.
• Must have IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• Experience with networking concepts and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 10+ years of experience.
• Expert understanding of networking and firewall virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise network management tools.
• Knowledge of system hardening and DoD STIG implementation.
• Experience with multiple vendor technologies including Cisco and Palo Alto.
• Knowledge of various networking protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work non-standard shifts.
• Ability to interface with customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
