In Short

Act as a key point of contact between infrastructure operations and Java development teams.
Install, configure, and manage Tomcat servers and Java application servers.
Deploy and manage Spring Boot services in containers.
Monitor JVM performance and perform memory management reviews.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Oversee Linux-based systems for stability and performance tuning.
Implement system observability using various monitoring tools.
Apply DevSecOps practices for security and compliance.
Support relational databases as part of application infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for environment maintenance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with advanced Linux skills.
Proven ability to manage Java-based applications in production.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and automation with GitLab.
Understanding of system observability with JVM monitoring tools.
Familiarity with relational database management systems.
Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles.
Good knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Relevant certifications in DevOps tools are a plus.
