Senior Backend Engineer, Identity Engineering - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer on our Identity Engineering team, you will design, develop and scale critical identity services and middleware that power League's platform.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in technical design and planning discussions.
• Uphold code quality standards through reviews and tests.
• Lead complex projects from discovery to delivery phases.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years backend development experience.
• Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant cloud services.
• Ability to write high-quality, testable code.
• Understanding of web and API standards.
• Willingness to help fix issues when they arise.
• Bonus: Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, or FIDO standards.
• Bonus: Experience working with Golang, Google Cloud Platform, or Node.js.
