Cybersecurity Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our information systems by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities.

In Short

• Work with operations and development teams to ensure security requirements are integrated and maintained.
• Assess and mitigate security vulnerabilities across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify attack vectors and security weaknesses.
• Monitor, analyze, and manage security threats using endpoint protection tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments utilizing various tools.
• Ensure security best practices for data and system protection are followed.
• Collaborate with development teams to review code and improve application security.
• Support incident response efforts by investigating and mitigating security incidents.
• Track and report cybersecurity metrics and KPIs for the Security Department.
• Work with ticketing systems to manage security-related tasks and incidents.

Requirements

• Expertise in security frameworks, cloud computing, and vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• AWS expertise required; Google Cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with endpoint protection tools like Microsoft Defender.
• Familiarity with tools such as SonarQube, AWS Inspector, Qualys, and Nessus.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS.
