Network Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Network Reliability Engineer at Lambda, you will help scale our high-performance cloud network and contribute to the automation of network configurations and deployments.

In Short

• Help scale Lambda’s high performance cloud network
• Contribute to the reproducible automation of network configuration and deployments
• Implement and operate Software Defined Networks
• Manage Spine and Leaf networks
• Ensure high availability through observability and redundancy
• Provide predictable networking performance
• Deploy and maintain network monitoring tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SWE, SRE or Network Reliability Engineering
• Experience with production-scale networking projects
• On-call and incident response management experience
• Building and maintaining Software Defined Networks (SDN)
• Comfortable with Linux command line and networking stack
• Experience with multi-data center and hybrid cloud networks
• Python programming experience and Ansible knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps practices
• Application lifecycle management on Kubernetes
