Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Reliability Engineer will support the GxP Facility Operations/Engineering department at Vertex GxP sites, ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment and systems through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

In Short

• Execute calibration interval assessments for new systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance and calibration services.
• Develop asset maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.
• Conduct spare parts risk assessments to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and submit change requests for maintenance and calibration updates.
• Implement improvements in the CMMS based on equipment feedback.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to prevent future equipment failures.
• Track completion of CMMS change requests for operational readiness.
• Develop Reliability Engineering KPIs for improved decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Requirements

• Aptitude for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Minimum engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Good Engineering Practices and Maintenance Best Practices.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, GAMP, ANSI standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Experience in developing metrics and KPIs.
• GMP experience preferred.
