Procurement Category Manager - Remote

Overview

The Procurement Category Manager works with internal decision makers to collaboratively shape and execute on category strategy in support of Lithia’s long-term growth, focusing on cost savings and vendor management.

In Short

• Drive category management and strategy development.
• Manage over $100M in spend across assigned categories.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Develop relationships with category decision makers.
• Identify savings opportunities through vendor consolidation.
• Support contract negotiations and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement team leadership.
• Execute sourcing events like RFPs and RFQs.
• Contribute to long-term vendor contracts.
• Ensure quality and performance of vendors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of procurement or vendor management experience.
• Experience in sourcing events execution.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
