Senior Manager IFRS - Remote

Overview

The Senior Manager IFRS will be responsible for IFRS technical accounting assessments, preparation of financial statements, and providing accounting advice on complex matters for the Kyivstar Group.

In Short

• Responsible for IFRS technical accounting assessments for Kyivstar Group transactions.
• Preparation and review of Group quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Execution of quarterly financial reporting controls and procedures.
• Act as a strategic business partner for ongoing strategic projects.
• Provide IFRS accounting advice on complex areas.
• Review and coordinate Treasury accounting matters.
• Support Operating Companies in IFRS compliance.
• Monitor changes in IFRS accounting pronouncements.
• Assist with annual impairment testing and assessments.
• Prepare presentations for key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive IFRS technical accounting expertise.
• Accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, RA) required.
• 4-6 years of experience in a similar role or Big 4 firm.
• Experience in researching complex accounting matters.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and relationship building skills.
• Proactive and self-starter.
• Good command of PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Ukrainian is a plus.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
