Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation to join our dynamic team at Kyivstar.Tech. In this role, you will lead the architecture, deployment, and management of hybrid cloud environments built primarily on VMware technologies. Familiarity with AWS is considered a strong advantage, as AWS is a part of our hybrid infrastructure.

In Short

• Lead architecture and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions, focusing on VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and manage hybrid cloud environments.
• Support cloud adoption and modernization strategies.
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and VMware Aria Automation.
• Establish security best practices and compliance controls.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization.
• Guide DevOps and development teams in leveraging cloud platforms.
• Provide expert guidance and documentation for architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
• Support presale activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience with VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Deep knowledge of VMware technologies.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• English level: B2 or higher.
