Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

Kreative Technologies is in search for a motivated Payroll Specialist who will work closely with our Accounting and Human Resources teams to support the operational accounting needs of the firm. The ideal candidate will be able to research and learn new tasks with minimum guidance. Additionally, the incumbent will be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail and is able to consistently meet deadlines.

In Short

• Manage the full cycle of in-house Payroll.
• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing and accounting systems.
• Approve timesheets and post labor in Unanet.
• Review Expense reports and guide employees on the Expense process.
• Assist with timely payments on payroll-related taxes.
• Setup and maintain employees in ADP workforce.
• Create and analyze various reports in ADP and Unanet.
• Work closely with Human Resource for payroll processing.
• Calculate and post accrual PTO per pay period.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy of payroll records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or a related field.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Proactive with strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll and general accounting processes.
• Experience with ADP and Unanet highly desired.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR highly desired.
