Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Manager in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team at Kraken, you will focus on risk management and SOX compliance, leading the development and execution of risk and control frameworks.

In Short

• Lead the development and execution of risk and control frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives and compliance with SOX requirements.

• Scope, design, and implement SOX controls.
• Coordinate annual SOX audits and manage evidence collection.
• Conduct gap analyses and track control effectiveness.
• Deliver SOX training and prepare compliance reports.
• Develop and implement KRIs and RCSAs.
• Lead risk evaluations for major projects and new product launches.
• Drive a risk-aware culture across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in risk management or SOX compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Expertise in ERM frameworks and risk management best practices.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404 requirements and ICFR.
• Proven project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with GRC systems and knowledge of cryptocurrency markets.
• Ability to integrate risk management practices into business processes.
