Overview

As the Head of Compliance and Risk, you will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of regulatory compliance and enterprise risk frameworks in accordance with VARA guidelines, ensuring Kraken operates with integrity and complies with all laws.

• Act as the Principal Compliance and Risk Officer
• Manage Money Laundering Reporting Officer
• Develop and maintain Compliance Management System
• Oversee regulatory reporting for VARA
• Establish Enterprise Risk Management framework
• Lead Business Continuity Plans and Incident Response strategies
• Engage with global regulators and industry bodies
• Provide input into strategic decisions
• 5+ years of Compliance Officer experience required
• Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 5+ years of experience as a Compliance Officer
• Leadership experience in a regulated firm
• In-depth knowledge of AML and CFT
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Arabic is a plus
• CAMS, CRCM, or equivalent certifications are preferred
