Project Manager (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and oversee complex projects that integrate our innovative technologies with those of our customers, particularly in the steel industry.

In Short

• Lead interdisciplinary teams in project development, planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage and monitor project plans, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Oversee project finances in collaboration with the finance team.
• Regularly present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct trend analyses and proactive risk management.
• Capture and apply lessons learned for future projects.
• Act as a contact point for customers, partners, and subcontractors.
• Ensure effective communication within the team and with external parties.
• Review and manage technical specifications for accuracy.
• Assemble and lead project teams, assigning resources and ensuring compliance with deadlines.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Experience in project management in mechanical and/or plant engineering, especially in steel, oil & gas, chemical, nuclear, or energy sectors.
• Expertise in managing large technical system projects.
• Practical experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive and collaborative working style with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
