Intercompany and Project Accounting Team Leader - Remote

Overview

This role is key to deliver a complete and accurate financial statement for all the in scope KOSTAL entities, understanding the connections between financial processes and their impact on the financial statement.

In Short

• Lead a team of accountants in intercompany and project accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of accounting data.
• Prepare statutory financial reports in compliance with local GAAP.
• Contribute to management reports and financial analysis.
• Manage ongoing operations and monitor team workload.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and process stabilization.
• Define closing schedules to speed up procedures.
• Engage with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Provide qualitative customer service and establish KPIs.
• Participate in projects for process optimization.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics or Finance.
• Chartered accountancy qualification or knowledge of IFRS/German GAAP is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in Accounting.
• 2-5 years of leadership experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP Fi Module.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to build teamwork and take on responsibilities.
• Energetic, communicative, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work under time pressure and summarize complex matters.
