Mechanical Engineer - Product Data Management - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to global master data management and 3D product modeling within the PS Product Data Mechanical team. This role emphasizes precise data creation, maintenance, and enrichment in Teamcenter PLM, along with design efforts aligned with international engineering standards.

In Short

• Maintain and enrich global master data within the Teamcenter PLM system.
• Create and manage mechanical component data and 3D models using UGNX, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Contribute to data migration projects and support custom tariff code classification.
• Apply international design standards such as DIN, EN, and ISO in daily engineering tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively with globally distributed teams.
• Consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality, punctuality, and efficiency.
• Support the implementation and compliance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience, preferably with a focus on material master data.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter PLM is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Material Master Data processes.
• Proficiency in at least two CAD tools: UG NX, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
