Overview

The Industrial Technician position at Konecranes involves providing maintenance and repair services for overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring safety and efficiency in material handling.

In Short

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues.
• Perform post-repair audits for safety features.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Produce electronic documentation and obtain customer signatures.
• Stay updated on industry codes and regulations.
• Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicles.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
• Must be available for on-call service and travel as needed.
