Assistant General Counsel, Transactions - Remote

Overview

This in-house corporate attorney will play an important role in building a global AI-driven clean-tech company that invents breakthrough technology, discovers billions of dollars of minerals, and helps to stop climate change.

• Integral part of an in-house legal team in a rapidly growing technology and mineral exploration company.
• Support the CLO and DGC in advancing company priorities.

• Review, draft, and advise on complex transactions.
• Lead due diligence efforts for opportunities.
• Provide legal and business advice to internal clients.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years at a top law firm.
• Experience as primary attorney on transactions from diligence to close.
• Excellent drafting and contracts skills.
• Strong desire to support and partner with senior legal staff.
• Interest in global company and learning foreign legal systems.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate across time zones.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in working in a science-based company.
• Ability to learn new tools and solve problems continuously.
• Optimistic attitude toward work and problem-solving.
