Security Assurance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Security Assurance Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and organizing documentation related to information security, privacy, and compliance.

• Create and maintain accurate security, privacy, and compliance documentation.
• Respond to internal requests made to the infosec and security assurance department.
• Assist in evaluation of organization wide risks.
• Perform controls assessments in relation to security assurance and certification projects.
• Review and assess controls and process descriptions.
• Create policy and procedure documents related to security assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year technical writing or process documentation experience.
• Experience in software development, technology or cybersecurity field.
• Industry recognized certification in Security, Privacy, Risk, Audit, or IT preferred.
• Solid understanding of technical terminology.
• Desire to grow into an infosec, risk, or data privacy role.
• Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
