Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.

In Short

  • Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products.
  • Places customer orders via various methods.
  • Negotiates sale and purchase prices to influence gross profit.
  • Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Maintains appropriate inventory levels for customers.
  • Partners with Account Representatives for customer satisfaction.
  • Expedites backorders and handles customer returns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Zero to three years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Moderate computer skills including information processing.
  • Product knowledge is preferred.
