QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The QA Automation Engineer helps deliver the quality and performance of large scale, multi-platform software products that includes web, API, and mobile application interfaces.

• Review requirements and specifications to assure quality of products and tests.
• Select and develop appropriate test automation scripts.
• Work with engineering teams to derive testing requirements.
• Define and execute system integration tests across platforms.
• Perform accessibility testing for web applications.
• Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems.
• Create software artifacts including test plans and test cases.
• Work cross-functionally in a disciplined agile environment.
• Estimate testing tasks and work productively with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an automation test engineer role.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java and JavaScript.
• Experience creating automation test cases using Selenium/Appium.
• Strong experience in API testing (SOAP, RESTful).
• Experience with XML, Databases, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and mobile devices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete testing for multiple applications.
• Experience with open-source test frameworks and test design strategies.
