Business Analyst, Product Management Team - Remote

Overview

KinderSystems is the leading provider of subsidy management software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to state agencies, Head Start programs, and child care providers. As a Business Analyst in the Subsidized Child Care Market, you will leverage your strong analytical and communication skills to work with both Product Managers and Technical Architects in creating intuitive, easy to use, highly functional software.

In Short

• Function as a liaison between product management, development and operations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify patterns and trends.
• Work cross functionally with customers, executives, stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Drive a lean and agile development process in partnership with Product Managers.
• Create process diagrams to visualize workflows.
• Research competitor products to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Write user stories to clearly define user needs.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Evaluate potential solutions based on growth and value delivery.
• Develop and maintain a library of standard tools and templates.

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a SaaS/Product/Technology environment.
• A collaborative approach to problem solving and execution.
• Ability to dive deep into data.
• Prior experience with REST-based APIs and database architectures.
• Familiarity with modern client-server technology (e.g. React/Node, ASP.NET).
• Experience with cloud-based technology and serverless computing.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Prior experience with state and local government customers is a plus.
