Overview

A well-established Legal & Lobbying Firm is looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to lead their lobbying and government relations teams. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating various teams of lobbyists and attorneys engaged in state and federal advocacy campaigns.

In Short

  • Oversee and coordinate the efforts of lobbyists and attorneys on both state and federal initiatives
  • Direct the planning, implementation, and assessment of advocacy campaigns
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and foster collaboration across departments
  • Generate and deliver weekly reports and updates to executive leadership
  • Act as the main point of contact for major project challenges and ensure prompt resolution
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, and resource management
  • Occasionally travel within the country to enhance team operations and client interactions
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication
  • Create and execute operational processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Experience in operations management and government relations
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Proficient in project management and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in advocacy campaigns preferred
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
