Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role will help shape Kajabi’s next generation data platform capabilities, enabling a trustworthy and scalable internal analytics platform and production-grade analytics data for customers.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable components of Kajabi’s data platform.
• Develop and operate containerized services using Docker.
• Contribute to deployment workflows leveraging Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform within AWS.
• Build and scale ingestion pipelines using tools such as Airbyte and Kafka.
• Develop data pipelines and modeling workflows in Snowflake with DBT.
• Design and scale real-time analytics datasets in ClickHouse.
• Build Python services and tooling for data processing.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Use Datadog for monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering foundation.
• Proficient with SQL and Python.
• Deep experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience deploying services using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience with Terraform for cloud resource provisioning.
• Extensive AWS experience.
• Experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience with Airbyte, Rudderstack, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
• Experience with Datadog and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex distributed systems.
