Overview

As a Senior Android Engineer at Kajabi, you will join a mobile cross-functional product team to enhance and maintain applications, leveraging your extensive Android development experience and understanding of mobile best practices.

In Short

• Design, architect, build, and maintain new and existing Android apps.
• Write clean, well-tested code that is easy to understand.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide technical leadership and platform knowledge.
• Collaborate with product design and UX experts.
• Participate in weekly one-on-ones with the engineering manager.
• Maintain and update existing mobile applications.
• Focus on Kotlin for content-based applications.
• Manage and deploy applications to the Google Play admin console.
• Work with preferred tools and practices like Git, Jira, and Firebase.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android development.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Expertise in dependency injection with Hilt/Dagger.
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Proficiency with AndroidX architecture components.
• Experience with media handling using Media3/ExoPlayer.
• Knowledge of networking libraries like Retrofit.
• Experience with image loading libraries.
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks.
