Executive Program Director - Remote

Overview

The Executive Program Director oversees the strategic direction and operational execution of the NamUs program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and managing cross-functional teams.

• Oversee NamUs program activities and initiatives.
• Manage a diverse team of forensic scientists and case managers.
• Maintain high-level client relationships for successful project delivery.
• Compile program statistics and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with schedules and contractual obligations.
• Develop, execute, and track program strategies and budgets.
• Conduct training and maintain quality systems.
• Perform resource forecasting and manage program staff.
• Attend national user group meetings annually.
• Ensure confidentiality and perform physical duties as required.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in forensic identification or death investigation.
• Minimum of 8 years of program management experience.
• 10+ years managing federal grants or cooperative agreements.
• PMP Certification is highly desired.
• Supervisory experience (2+ years) is highly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct research using public databases.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background investigation.
