Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Systems Engineer reports to the Manager, DevOps and is responsible for bridging the gap between software development, testing, and operations teams. This role involves providing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery solutions and administering tools to support these functions.

In Short

• Work on cloud-based platform projects including architecture and implementation.
• Maintain and develop “Platform As Code” using Terraform and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot issues in development, lab, and production environments.

• Build cloud platform components and integrate applications with monitoring systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer role.
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of database management and 3-tier applications.
• Experience with AWS stack and security best practices.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as BASH, Python, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of provisioning tools like Terraform.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfort with collaboration and communication across teams.
