In Short

• Design, document, and implement enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Implement technical initiatives to improve deployment velocity, reliability, scalability, and quality (advance our DORA metrics).
• Establish and drive engineering best practices for development, testing, security, deployment architecture, automation, and operations.
• Provide technical insight during system design, implementation, and troubleshooting with a focus on automation, scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Drive adoption of modern cloud tools/technologies and industry standard best practices across engineering teams.
• Support production deployments and incident response.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on CI/CD and IaaS/PaaS engineering experience.
• Expansive knowledge on container orchestration (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and how to use them to deliver software from development all the way through to production.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based managed services (S3, EC2, AKS/EKS, RDS, CodePipeline, etc) as part of larger product offering.
• Experience with certificate issuance and management (PKI, x.509, RSA/ECC/DSA, TLS/SSL protocols, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with object-oriented programming (TypeScript preferred).
• Experience with cross-functional Product Teams.
