In Short

• Design and implement sophisticated data models in SQL.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers for scalable implementations.
• Act as a technical expert on data-related matters.
• Introduce new technologies to enhance data pipeline capabilities.
• Document data models and architectural decisions.
• Assist with governance, code reviews, and access controls.
• Learn application data schema for customer decision-making.
• Guide product and development teams on reporting foundations.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.
• Build scalable infrastructure for business insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong command of relational databases, preferably Postgresql.
• Proficiency in Python and web application development.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS RDS.
• Familiarity with BI/data visualization platforms.
• Basic understanding of data warehouses like Amazon Redshift.
• Ability to translate data into actionable narratives.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.
