Legal Operations Director - Remote

We are looking for a founding Legal Operations Director to build our legal operations from the ground up, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational workflows.

In Short

• Lead the vision and execution of Legal Operations.
• Drive operational alignment across the Legal function.
• Build workflows with AI at the center.
• Optimize legal technology platforms, particularly Ironclad.
• Design and manage legal intake and matter-management processes.
• Define and track KPIs for operational performance.
• Build the Legal Operations function and scale the team.
• Help manage the Legal department budget.
• Oversee vendor relationships and spend management.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Legal Operations experience.
• Expertise in Ironclad or similar CLM.
• Experience with legal intake/matter-management systems.
• Strong operational and analytical capabilities.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
• Project-management certifications preferred.
• Experience with global legal teams preferred.
• Hands-on ownership of a modern CLM platform preferred.
