Overview

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This position involves verifying invoices, processing payments, reconciling vendor statements and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable activity.

  • Engage in Vendor Management and ensure accurate vendor setup.
  • Create and process check requests for various payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with monthly sponsor invoicing process.
  • Complete other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Practice and adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree; additional education may substitute for experience.
  • 1+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to interpret basic study contract language.
