Senior Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

This is a contract-to-perm opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator in a fully remote role, supporting business operations within a logistics group.

In Short

• Support application deployments and onboarding processes.
• Manage post-change validations to ensure updates meet business needs.
• Collaborate with IT to test and communicate system patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by end-users.
• Create and maintain documentation for new processes, SOPs, and key business decisions.
• Coordinate efforts across Logistics, IT, and vendors to resolve system-related issues.
• Lead and support project management tasks on large initiatives.
• Facilitate continuous improvement efforts to enhance functionality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and collaborate across teams.
• Hands-on experience with system testing, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with trade compliance systems (e.g., Datacart) is a plus.
• Logistics and/or retail industry experience preferred.
• Preference for candidates with longer tenures at previous roles.
