Manual QA Tester - Remote

Overview

This position offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring high-quality software for critical government applications. The Manual QA Tester will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and help improve software performance.

In Short

• Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on user stories, requirements, and specifications.
• Execute manual testing procedures to evaluate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects to developers and follow up on resolution progress.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to improve software quality and performance.
• Apply QA processes, test methodologies, and software release standards to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Perform web application testing and, if applicable, mobile application testing.
• Maintain knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 and WCAG, and test accordingly.
• Support opportunities to gain experience in automation testing tools and software development practices.
